Prophecies on the Mount of Uhud
Prophecies on the Mount of Uhud Following Uhud war, a war launched by the polytheists against the Muslim near mount Uhud, the Muslims were filled with sadness and dismay, the defeat in this battle increased the grief in their heart when they looked at this mountain because seventy Muslims were buried at its foot. One day, the prophet ,Abu-Baker, Umar and Osman ascended the nountain, the moment the prophet put his feet on the mountain it began to shake hilariously, the prophet said strikingly it lovably with his honourable foot: Be quiet Uhud, here stand on you a prophet, the verified (an epithet given to Abu-Baker) and two martyrs. The moment the Prophet says that to the mountain it began to be quiet, in this event there are a miracle and a prophecy. As to the the prophecies, the first is that Abu-Bakr would die normal death while the other two persons would be killed and this was virtually fulfilled; Um'ar was killed while he was leading the people in the Fajr prayer, a man by the name Lu'la the Megan stabbed him. Usman also was killed while he was reading the Holy Quran. This was not the first time that inanimate objects reacted when the prophet touched or held in his hand, many times the companions heard the pebbles glorifying God's name in the hands of the prophet. The story of the crying of the stem of the date-palm tree is also famous and is recorded in the collections of the prophet's sayings. It is narrated that: The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing on a trunk of a date palm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying).
