Islam accepts the Others
The Islamic politics system does not seek the welfare and security of Muslims only but it include non-Muslims, too. When the Prophet Mohammed established the first Islamic state hold may treaties with all non-Muslims groups in a way that guaranteed the security and well-fare of all the society members. The Holy Quran says in this regard what means:
And also says:
And also the prophet says
The prophet set many rules when dealing with non Muslims, these all formed the strategy that the Islamic state followed in dealing with non-Muslims especially those who live under the authority of the Islamic state. Non-Muslims, according to the Islamic jurisprudence have the same rights of Moslem in time of peace and in time of war. Here is situation that materialized the Islamic percepts concerning dealing with non-Muslims:When the Tartars launched their war against Syria and took countless men from Muslims, Jews and Christians as prisoners, Sheikh-al-Islam Ibn-e-Taimiyah, a title of superior authority on Islamic knowledge, decided to talk to the Tartar Chief about the release of the prisoners.
After long arguing with the leader of the army leader and being affected by the reverence of the Sheik, the leader decided to honour the Sheik by releasing the Muslim captives. As a Sheik, who knew well the Islamic law that stresses the rights of the non-Muslims and the equal rights of citizenship for every individual, he frowned at this decree on the part of the enemy leader and kept on arguing with him that all captives should be released. Finally, he succeeded in releasing all the captives (Muslims, Christian and Jews) and he went back with them. In fact whoever reads the Holy Quran and the biography of the Prophet Muhammad will realize to what extent the term" Islam Phobia" is no more than a big lie and that Islam is a peaceful religion that accepts the other.
