Jesus can’t be God according to the following historiacl facts:

No where in the Bible Jesus says

” I am God”,

if he had been God, he should have told people that clearly and directly  as this would have been  the most important of his teachings but,instead, he stressed that fact that he was no more than a mortal chosen by God to impart His message.

There used to be monotheistic cults whose books were found recently, they worshipped God alone and believed that Jesus was no more than a human being.

The deity of Jesus was decided in the first synode. This means that there were a lot of people who objected on Jesus as being God.

Two hundred verses in the Holy Book calls for austere montheism.
None of the desciples identified Jesus as God.

The miracles of Jesus in the Bible weren’t unique in the OT
All the titles given to Jesus weren’t unique to him, similar title were followed in the Jewish culture.

The Holy Book contains more than two hundred vereses that call for austere monotheism; here we select some few verses from the New Testement:  
 
 
John 8:28
I do nothing of myself"?
So Jesus said,

“When you have lifted up[a] the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. (1. John 8:28)

My Commentary
How can be he a god while he can’t do anything of his own, this means that he had no power, he had no authority to speak or do whatever he did in the name of God. Another more question that this text suggest:
Does God need to be taught?  
Please also note the Greek for lifted up also means exalted.

2. John 5:30:
 He can't do a single thing of his own initiative?
 

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

My Commentary
This passage stresses the same fact mentioned above. In all he did, he depended on God, so he is not a god. He can’t judge by himself, he just judges what God judges as the verse means. Moreover the verse says “but him who sent me”, so he was just a messanger that God sent exactly as God sent Moses, Abraham amd the all prophets.

Matthew 24:36

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

My Commentary
So according to this verse the god Jesus doesn’t know the Hour, so what does he exactly knows. Like he always said he was a man sent by God, he can’t do…, he can’t judge…, he doesn’t know…
What is more amazing is that he says” …even the angels”, this means that angels are superior to him.
John 2 0:17

John 2 0:17:  17 Jesus said,

“Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."

My Commentary

Where in this verse does Jesus say he is God? In this verse Jesus included himself in the group of the humble believers as he says

“…my God and your God”.

Note that he doesn’t distinguish himself from the other believers. Also the verse indicates that” the word “father” wasn’t a unique to him as he addresses the group of people standing before him saying “ …Your father…”
John 14:28:
And Jesus said to him,

‘Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.”?

My Commentary
Even in this verse Jesus finds it inappropriate to be described with one of God’s attributes. He refused to be likened to God.

Jesus John 5:32
Jesus told his followers that they have never seen GOD at anytime nor ever heard his voice?
John 1:18 He said

"No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the FATHER'S side, has made HIM known this Verse?

My Commentary
 According to this verse God can’t be seen and no one ever heard him but all the contemporaries of Jesus saw and heard him.
