Quran scientific statement on iron as being sent to the earth is supported by Modern Science
Quran tells us that God sent iron from heaven and thisstatement is now supported by our modern science. It is thought that the earth was once apart of the sun and then separated , soscientists thought that iron was formedin the sun but this supposition proved tobe wrong because the surface heat temperature of the sun is 6000 Celsiusdegrees while the temperature of the coreranges from 15 million to 16 millionsCelsius and this degree , though high , isnot enough to form an iron atom . Thewhole temperature of the solar system isnot sufficient to produce elemental iron . Where was iron ?created Iron needs very high temperature. This high temperature can not befound anywhere except in starswhich five times larger than thesun- scientifically known as massivestars. Life cycle of stars: In order to sustain its life a star needs to fusehydrogen into other elements. When stars like our sun ends up itsfuel it expands but in massive starsthe nuclear reaction goes on till iron. core formed in the center of the star.Iron can’t be fused, so the starcollapses forming a supernova. The outer shells of the stars whichcontain heavy elements bombardthe nearby planets. This is exactly what happened toour earth while it was still a heapof ashes. So according to modernastrophysics, iron wasnot formed in the earth. It was formed in oldmassive stars and thenwas caused to hit the earth. www.knowmuhammad.org The Holy Quran tells us that Iron was not formed in the earth.• The Holy Quran presents many miracles that proves to every person, be it learned or not, that it is a divine book.• Among these miracles is the scientific miracle; the Holy Quran contains scientific statements that are supported by science.• Please note that Prophet Muhammad was an illiterate who lived in an age in which such scientific facts were not known. God says in the Holy Quran what means
So According to this verse:God sent down the Holy Quran.God link between the Holy Quran as being sentdown and so was iron. Please note though other heavy metals were sentdown but Quran gives special mention to ironbecause it was the most common metal in the timeof revelation . The Holy Quran refers to many benefits of ironIn his book Nature’s Destiny, Michael Denton, a well-knownmicrobiologist, says:Of all the metals there is none more essential to life than iron. It is the accumulation of iron in the centre of a star which triggers asuper nova explosion and the subsequent scattering of the vitalatoms of life throughout the cosmos. It was the drawing by gravityof iron atoms to the centre of the primeval earth that generated theheat which caused the initial chemical differentiation of the earth, the outgassing of the early atmosphere, and ultimately theformation of the hydrosphere. It is molten iron in the center of theearth which, acting like a gigantic dynamo, generates the earth’smagnetic field, which in turn creates the Van Allen radiation beltsthat shield the earth’s surface from destructive high-energy-penetrating cosmic radiation and preserve the crucial ozone layerfrom cosmic ray destruction… Without the iron atom, there would be no carbon-based life in the cosmos; no supernovae, no heating of the primitive earth, no atmosphere or hydrosphere. Therewould be no protective magneticfield, no Van Allen radiation belts,no ozone layer, no metal to makehaemoglobin [in human blood],no metal to tame the reactivity of oxygen, and no oxidativemetabolism. The intriguing and intimate relationship between life and iron, between the red color of blood and the dying of some distant star, not only indicatesthe relevance of metals to biology but also thebiocentricity of the cosmos . The Holy Quran refers to the Atomic Number of Iron Surat al-Hadid 25, which refers to iron, contains two rathe rinteresting mathematical codes.“Al- Hadid” is the 57th surah inthe Qur’an. The abjad of theword “Al-Hadid” in Arabic, when the numerological valuesof its letters are added up, is also 57.The numerological value of theword “hadid” alone is 26. And 26 is the atomic number of iron.
