The Islamic TrusT, Part One
Part One The Islamic civilization has been singled out by some features and privileges that are seated well with the human spiritual and material welfare. The human spiritual and material welfare is the general rule of Islamic system. The early Islamic charitable organization is one of the specific features that singalled out the Islamic civilization over the span of history. Though, a few centuries after the Islamic model budded into life, Europe invented similar charitable organization, yet the Islamic remained unique as regard its goals, background and reasons. Moreover; it remained equal as regard its basics which were humane. The European's, known as the Trust, has always remained an echo of the Moslem's whom they had many points of geographical contacts with , moreover; the writings of the Muslim scientists which can be considered the starts of the scientific encyclopedias played important rule in forming most of the basics and concepts of the European civilization. Prophet Mohammed says:
Sadika garya(a never-ending- reward sadika(alms)) is what we call in English " the Trust", such Sadika may can take many forms such as building a school, hospital, food-free organization, providing water …etc. Charitable act in this sense was practiced in the time of the prophet; in the hadith collection by Imam Ahamed, narrated Ishak ibn Aby-Talha, that he heard An'as ibn Malik saying that Abu-Talha was among the richest, his most favourite properties was a water fountain in the front of the Holy Mosque, its water was pure and clear and the prophet used it to drink from.
