Muhammad, the Administrative Genius (Part Three)
It happened that one idolater was killed by one of The Muslims shortly after the peaceful conquer of Mekka (the prophet's hometown which fought and dispelled him). On receiving this news, the prophet got very angry and rebuked some of the companions saying these clear -cut words
Also, when he wanted to ban wine, he invented an educational technique that also is regarded as Sunna ; in a narration by the son of Omer, he says:
Such an act reveals the genius of the prophet and the manager in the character of the prophet at the same time. Drinking wine, selling it and even carrying it are strictly forbidden in Islam and these are known for Muslims in addition to the Muslim scholars. The responsibility of imposing the social restricts should lie in the hands of the men in authority not in the hands of the ones who knows what is legally accepted and what is not, the problem here is not about legalizing or banning wine but rather it is about implementing and managing its details in a society where the interests of its individual conflict among each other , a society where nothing could be as dangerous and afflicting as such chaos, disorder and discordance; a society where nothing could be harmful to it as imposing obedience and ignoring the people of high authority. The prophet took it upon himself to put banning wine into effect, though banning wine is decisively clear in the Holy Quran, he could leave implementing this Quranic ordinance for anyone, but he went out himself to do that and then designated certain people to complete his work- He didn’t allow anyone to do whatever he liked concerning this.
