Abu-Bakr, the verifier
The Holy Prophet said:
None among the early Muslims was given the epithet" the verifier" but Abu-Bakr. He was given this epithet by the prophet because: Abu-Baker was the first among men who believed in the prophet, when the prophet exposed him to Islam he accepted without any reluctance; the Prophet Mohammed says
His belief in Muhammad reached a degree that he believed what seemed to people impossible;After the death of the prophet’s wife Khadiga and after the demise of his supportive parental uncle, the prophet went to the city of Taif to expose the masters there to Islam but there he was rejected and offended. To relieve him, God granted him with the night Journey in which the prophet accompanied the archangel, he travelled to Jerusalem and then he ascended into heaven. When the prophet told the Mekkans of that they belied him and raced to Abu-Baker to tell him thinking that his belief and faith would be shaken.

said Abu-Baker. Abu-Bakr was the strongest in faith if he is compared with all the Muslims, the prophet ssaid commenting on his never-shaken faith” He (Abu-Bakr) didn’t excel you by his many prayers or fasting, he excelled you in something that deeply embedded in his heart.” The prophet says
